Help for C# Interview questions and career decision

Hi All
I am fresh college graduate who has done C and C++ during college
times. After that i had done a C# course from one of our local computer
institute. The course is BCM which ran for 1 year. But now when i am
looking for job the questions asked in interview are really very very
weird and does not match any where near to what my institute taught.
My faculty has give me following links for preparation of interview
http://www.geocities.com/dotnetinterviews/
http://www.techninterviews.com
http://www.brainbench.com
http://www.crackinterviews.com
with that he has said to do small project which will make me confident.
But i need a job soon and can not really wait to do dummy projects do
you really think those upper links can be helpful in getting a job
I am new comer so please excuse for asking in this way.Any good website
for interview question please help meI'll answer as best I can.
It's not unusual for Academia to teach skills which do not reflect the real
world. All they seem to do is prove you are capable of learning ...
something.
Firstly I would stongly advise that you learn the development cycle by
thinking of a project and write it. You'll go through all the pains of bugs,
code crashes, lack of information as well as building up a strong reference
of internet sites and material from which you can draw from in the future.
This does means time will need to be invested. You'll be very lucky to get a
job without some basic usable skills unless you find someone to employ you
as a trainee. As regards to getting a job. Get one but not neccesarily as a
programmer. After you've written your project(s) and got used to seeing
"real code" you'll be much better prepared for the interview process and
many of the things you were asked you will now understand and be able to
answer and maybe they'll offer you a job.
